Pipersville, PA Movers

Pipersville is a rural village in Bucks County where Route 413 ends at Route 611. It straddles two townships, Bedminster and Plumstead. The ZIP code is 18947. Farmhouses, barns, and wide fields still define much of the area.

Moving a rural property takes more planning than a typical house move. LiteMovers looks at the roads, the driveway, and every building on the land. Then we set a plan that fits the property.

Named for a Tavern Keeper

The village grew around a tavern at the junction of Durham Road and the Philadelphia-Easton Road. Joseph Bladen built it in 1759. George Piper, a colonel in the Continental Army, bought it in 1778, and the village later took his name.

A fire destroyed the first building in 1884, and it was rebuilt in the Victorian style. Today it is known as the Historic Piper Tavern. It still marks the main crossroads where many moving trucks pass.

Two Townships, Two School Districts

Pipersville’s split matters for families. The Bedminster side is in the Pennridge School District. The Plumstead side is in the Central Bucks School District.

Check your exact address before you buy or rent. It decides your schools, your township office, and your road crew. Plumstead’s township building is on Stump Road in Pipersville.

Farmhouses, Barns, and Outbuildings

Many farms around Pipersville sit under conservation easements that block subdivision. So the land stays open, and properties keep their barns and sheds. A move here often covers several buildings, not just one house.

BuildingWhat it usually holdsHow we handle it
Farmhouse.Furniture, antiques, and decades of family items.Room-by-room packing with extra padding on narrow stairs.
Barn.Tools, tack, old furniture, and stored keepsakes.Sort first, then load what moves and clear the rest.
Workshop or shed.Hand tools, benches, and garden gear.Box small tools and wrap long-handled items in bundles.
Detached garage.Extra freezers, bikes, and overflow storage.Load last, after the house, to keep the drive clear.

Like any household mover, we cannot haul fuel, propane, or chemicals. Plan to handle those items before move day. Our junk removal and donation crew can clear other unwanted items from barns and sheds.

Rural Roads and Big Truck Access

Route 611 and Route 413 handle trucks well. The back roads are another story. Bedminster alone has more than 100 miles of public roads, and many are narrow two-lane country routes.

Our truck access survey for rural homes

  • ✓Road width and any low branches on the way in.
  • ✓Bridges or tight bends near the property.
  • ✓Driveway length, surface, and grade.
  • ✓Room to turn around near the house.
  • ✓A backup plan for shuttling loads in a smaller vehicle.

We check these points during the estimate. If a large truck cannot get close, we shuttle items from the house to the truck. That keeps lawns, fences, and soft ground from damage.

Will LiteMovers move items out of a barn or shed?

The number of buildings, the amount of sorting, and truck access affect the cost most. Long driveways, shuttle needs, and distance also matter. LiteMovers reviews each of these during your free estimate.
