Apartment Movers Near Me
Main Line and Philly suburb apartment moves since 2007. COIs, elevators, and tight access handled for you.
You searched “apartment movers near me.” You probably got a long list of national directories and out-of-state companies. LiteMovers is the local answer. Our office sits at 307 East Church Road in King of Prussia and our second location is on Lancaster Avenue in Wayne. Our crews are minutes from every apartment building on the Main Line, in King of Prussia, in Conshohocken, in West Chester, and across the Philadelphia suburbs.
Apartment moves have rules house moves do not. Buildings require Certificates of Insurance. Elevators need reservations. Loading zones have time limits. Stairs, narrow halls, low ceilings, and shared parking lots all change how a move runs. LiteMovers handles every part. You focus on packing. We handle the building.

LiteMovers crew on-site at a Main Line luxury apartment community.

What Type of Apartment Are You Moving?
High-Rise Apartments
Concierge lobbies, freight elevators, and strict COI requirements. We coordinate elevator reservations weeks in advance, file COIs that meet every common provision (additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory language), and bring elevator wall pads. Common in Wayne, Bryn Mawr, Wynnewood, and King of Prussia.
Mid-Rise Apartment Buildings
Three to seven story buildings with shared elevators or stairs. Often mixed-use with retail on the ground floor. Loading windows matter because of street traffic and pedestrian access. We scout the property if access is unclear, and we book trucks for off-peak hours when possible.
Walk-Up Apartments
No elevator. Stairs only. Common in Narberth, Ardmore, parts of Bryn Mawr, and historic neighborhoods. Our crews are trained for stair flights and use proper equipment including shoulder dollies, hoist straps, and furniture sliders. We protect every step with runners and pad every doorway.
Garden-Style Apartment Communities
Multiple buildings across a campus. Different units have different closest entrances. We confirm your apartment number and identify the right loading position before move day so we are not wasting time hunting for the building. Common at Radnor Preserve, Stonegate at Devon, and Wyntre Brooke.
Senior & 55+ Apartment Communities
Brightview, Brandywine Living, Wesley Enhanced Living, The Tedwyn, and many CCRCs require specialized move-in coordination. Our crews are trained in senior moves and downsizing. We coordinate with community move-in offices, pack carefully, and place furniture according to your floor plan.

Pennsylvania Apartment Move Pricing
LiteMovers files our rates with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission under license A-8916211. We charge published tariff rates. No discounts, no specials, no flat-rate gimmicks. That is not a sales pitch. It is state law under 52 Pa. Code Chapter 31.
What you get instead is the 110% rule. If the final bill exceeds the written estimate by more than 10%, the mover must deliver your belongings on payment of the estimate plus 10% (or $25, whichever is greater). You have 15 days to pay the balance. That protection is built into Pennsylvania law specifically to keep apartment renters from getting blindsided on move day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you provide a Certificate of Insurance for my apartment building?
Same business day. Once you book your move and send us your building’s COI requirements, our team issues the certificate and emails it to your property manager. Standard COIs go through quickly. If your building needs custom additional insured language, waiver of subrogation, or higher coverage limits, we adjust the certificate before submitting. Most are approved within one or two business days.
How far in advance should I book my apartment move?
Book at least three weeks ahead for weekend moves. Weekday moves can often book with one week of notice. Summer is the busiest season because leases turn over. June through August fills up first. If you have lease flexibility, weekday and mid-month moves are easier to schedule and often go faster because loading zones are less crowded.
Can you reserve the freight elevator with my building management?
Yes. Once you confirm your move date with us, we contact your building management to reserve the freight or service elevator. We coordinate the time window with the leasing office and bring elevator wall pads in case your building requires them. You stay focused on packing while we handle the building logistics.
What if I am moving between two apartment buildings?
This is one of our most common jobs. We coordinate COIs for both buildings. We reserve elevators at both locations. We plan loading and unloading windows to match each building’s rules. Our crews protect both apartments with floor runners and door pads. You get one team, one truck, and one point of contact from start to finish.
Do you handle walk-up apartments and buildings without elevators?
Yes. Many Main Line and Philly suburb apartments are walk-ups. Our crews are trained for stair flights and we bring the right equipment: shoulder dollies, hoist straps, furniture sliders, and stair climbers for heavy items. We protect every stairwell with runners. Walk-up moves often take a bit longer than elevator moves, and we factor that into your estimate.
What if my lease end date and new lease start date do not line up?
We have you covered. Our climate-controlled warehouse holds your belongings for one night or one year. We load from your old apartment, drive to our facility, and deliver to your new place when you are ready. You only pay for the time and space you actually use. This is one of the most common apartment situations we handle in the Main Line and Philly suburbs.
